Quick Mindfulness Exercise to Try

Mindfulness Exercise

  1. Write down a one word description of how you are feeling as you start your day and keep it in your pocket.
  2. When you end your day, take that piece of paper out and write how you feel now on the other side.
  3. After reviewing both words.. what is your take away? Here is my example
    1. 9am- as I get off the train to walk to the office –
      1. Optimistic
    1. 7pm as I walk off the train back in my home town
      1. Accomplished
    1. Overall my take away is my optimism allowed me to be open and led to that feeling of accomplishment.

Give it a try for a few days and let me know if this works for you.  I would love to see some examples if you are open to it
