Success! A long run done

Thanks to Amanda and her good advice on staying in the mile I am running and the mantra of ” stronger and stronger each mile” I had a great run.

I purposely took it slow and added two new hills to help me get ready for the NYC marathon.  I need to do this more often.

The loose time goal I had for myself was 2 hours.

 I just missed it due to a bathroom break and having to stop for traffic. I will continue to chase that goal.

I also listened to two podcasts instead of music and really enjoyed that. I might try a book next week. Anyone have any suggestions of a good book to listen to while running?

The rest of the day was filled with errands and seeing the movie  Mission Impossible 3. Chuck and I love action adventure movies and usually wait till they are on Netflix but this was too good to wait for.

Onto week three of marathon training and a 5 mile run tomorrow. Flat trail this time!
