Roller coaster -say what?

Love that song from the 80’s

It was that kind of week for me, but thanks to my all the groundwork over the last year of a solid health and wellness journey its all good.

A huge shout out to all the supporters of Galfriday4hire! and all my new followers on twitter!  379 and growing.  I am so blessed to be part of this community.

Its was a great week for the HBBC challenge.

6 runs- my goal was to run outside twice and I made that happen

I had purchased cold gear and did not need it at all. good to have anyway.

6- yoga workouts including the gym class.  Did a much better job of keeping up.

12- stretching and core workouts – these are key to keeping my knees in shape

WOW- my workout space is tiny too so I enjoyed this one!

My goal for next week is to try a new fitness class and a new fruit and vegetable in the smoothie.

This week I also met my Team in Training group for the Nike Women’s Half Marathon in April.  It was an inspiring morning run in Central Park.

Running for a cause will really challenge me as a runner as I realize that I am part of a team and that this group is working to raise funds to fight a disease.  My immediate family has not been touched by blood cancer, but so many of my teammates have lost family and friends.

The money we will raise will go to life saving research.  Please join me and Nike in doing what you can to help move them closer to a cure.
